Introducing Google Fast Flip

Google Labs has launched their Fast Clip online tool. Fast Clip provides users with a quick (and visual overview) of many reputable online publications. You can sort through articles by the most viewed, category, or publication. It can be a very useful tool for those who frequent newspaper/magazine publication web sites on a daily basis.

Google Launches Internet Stats

Earlier today Google launched an aggregated internet stats site. Oddly, it’s hidden behind a UK url. The site collects industry facts and insights from a number of partners and third party vendors that include; Core Metrics, Times Online, Guardian and YouTube.

Microsoft and Yahoo have signed an agreement to partner up in the search engine business. Beginning in 2010 Microsoft’s technology will power both Microsoft’s Bing and Yahoo Search while Yahoo will take care of all the advertising on both search engines.

The new Google directions gadget will allow business owners to pre-fill the direction “To” field with one or multiple addresses, while leaving open the “From” field so that customers can input their address or some other starting point. Read the full story at Small Business Trends.

Google is in the process of building another gadget called the Google PowerMeter. “PowerMeter will show consumers their electricity consumption in near real-time in a secure iGoogle Gadget”.
