Sears rewards shoppers for saving

Sears has launched a Christmas Club account card that helps shoppers save up for the upcoming holiday season purchase. Instead of functioning like a credit card the Sears card allows users to add value beforehand, like paying money into a bank account. Shoppers can deposit money onto their Sears Christmas club card as often as they like, up until November 14, as the program suggests, or activate it before October 31 and get a 3 percent reward relative to the card’s value, up to $100.
