In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, Adobe has just released their fourth installment of Creative Suite.  If you work in film, video, multimedia, 3D, manufacturing, architecture, engineering, CS4 promises to be an awesome addition to any creators set of tools.

I’ve had a chance to demo the new Photoshop CS4 upgrade and can say that I’m pretty impressed. The first thing I noticed was that the interface has had a make over, and has become much easier to work with. It even has preset work spaces designed with you in mind. Whether you are designing for web, print or you are just working with typography, Adobe has set up, what they believe to be the best work spaces for you individually.

Another more interesting new addition, is the ability to work in 3D!…Yes, I said 3D! The new Photoshop allows you to paint directly on 3D models, wrap 2D images around 3D shapes, convert gradient maps to 3D objects and add depth to layers and text. How cool is that!?!?
