Display Ads A “Must Do” To Boost Search Performance

Listen up my retail marketing manager and consultant cohorts, if you haven’t planned to add online display advertising to your 2009 retail campaigns think again. 

Search clickers exposed to display advertising were 22% more likely to produce a sale than those who were not exposed, according to a September 2008 study of Microsoft’s Engagement Mapping system by Atlas Solutions. Retail marketing managers and consultants should take serious note.  What other advertising medium can you get a 22% more likely for this low price point compared to traditional print, tv and radio!
